Stack City: The 3D City-Building Board Game
Stack City is a 3D city-building game that blends engine-building and resource management for 2-4 players. Each player controls a competing Enterprise with unique abilities that shape their strategy. Turns unfold in three phases: Rent, Reward, and Action - where players collect income, gain rewards, and expand their city by placing buildings or using Action Cards. With limited space, players must think vertically, carefully stacking structures to maximize their influence. The goal is to construct the most buildings and earn the highest Economy Points.
How to play stack city:
1. Build your Enterprise and stack the city to earn Money, Permits, Action Cards and Economy Points.
2. Choose Your Enterprise & Start Building.
Entertainment gets Action Cards. Business earns money. Community builds more buildings. Services generate more permits
3. Stack Buildings to Grow Your City.
Place Common or Enterprise buildings to claim space.
Each tile you cover increases your build total and unlocks more potential. “1 Building placement = 1 Player Piece movement”.
4. Collect Rent.
Rent is collected at the beginning of each turn based on the location of your player piece on the outside track of the board.
5. Collect Rewards.
Earn valuable rewards each turn for every Enterprise you own. The more Enterprises you own the more rewards you collect each turn.
6. Play Action Cards to Tip the Balance.
Draw and use Action Cards to earn, build, or sabotage.
Some cards take effect instantly, others are saved for the perfect moment.
7. Expand Your Enterprise.
Buy more Enterprise cards to unlock bigger turns and earn Economy Points.
8. Endgame.
The games end is initiated when a player reaches 32 build spaces or when all buildings have been placed on the board. The player with the most Economy Points wins!
